I have a whole file FULL of conversations i have had with her and even the original email with the offer for the MAC $500 lot and $900 lot if you need it for prosecution! I hope the IFCC get the ball rolling soon!

THE PLOT THICKENS!

So for anyone who has read my previous entry you all know about the ordeal I am having with our little friend Melinda Dovishak of Cosmetique-Boutique. She was due to respond to my claim today by using the Paypal Dispute and Complaint Centre but she sent me a private email.

This is what it said:

"Hello, I am not sure if you received my previous emails, but I will let you know the situation.

someone who was friend and fellow cosmetics seller hijacked my pay pal account and now I cannot access it at all to view the dispute

IF I refund your money from another pay pal account will you close the dispute?

I was in the hospital for almost 3 weeks and was unable to respond to your emails. and if you sent any emails they were not read by me but by the person who hijacked my pay pal and ebay accounts

your items did not ship to me from my buyer because this buyer is now under suspicious for selling fake items (even tho all the items I have ever received from her were not fake)

I did not want you to get fake items, so I cancelled my order with this girl and am awaiting a refund for the purchase.

I can send your refund via my NEW pay pal account, so when I do will you close the dispute on the original transaction?

I am soo sorry for this problem, it was not intentional...my account was hijacked and pay pal is working on trying to verify this information.

could you please copy and paste the PAY PAL DISPUTE information and send it to me as I cannot access my account."

First of all....if she can't access her account how did she know that there was a dispute in the first place (i can assume that they sent her details to her email account - if that was the case she should see a claim number too....)

Second - i have a feeling this is a "template" letter as it is very generic and not personalized.

Previously other scammed buyers have also been told that she was in hospital for the past 3 weeks which I find hard to believe. I think she is trying to get some sympathy.

I am wondering if this is how she has been able to keep afloat of it all. By getting people to accept refunds from a separate account so that it doesn't reflect in her Paypal successful transactions rating....

Anyways just a little update and i am SO glad that other people are benefitting from my little mishap. It just means she has less of a chance of conning other people!

Who NOT to buy Cosmetics from!!!!!

So, a while ago on Ebay I bought some MAC cosmetics from this chick and they were AWESOME! 100% authentic and at an AWESOME price!!!! So when she added me to her email list and started sending me group emails in regards to stock she carries I thought it was LEGIT!

She had an offer for 1 lot of 12 MAC cosmetics for $93.00 which was a MEGA bargain and as I had spent $200 with her last time and had no problems i thought it was going to be okay. But boy was i WRONG!

I bought $500.00 worth of stock and knew there was a delay in recieving stock so i wasn't worried too much and as i said my last transaction with her was legit and was ABSOLUTELY awesome.....

8 weeks later, 1 paypal claim later, NO PRODUCTS and now her website is now down! Another funny thing is that when i lodged a complaint with paypal it stated that the seller is "unable" to communicate and was immediately set to "claim"status.

I can't believe that this has happened... this is the first DODGY experience i have ever had over the internet in regards to buying things online...

The name of the seller is : Melinda Dovishak and her FORMER company is Cosmetique - Boutique. She was a power seller on Ebay... 1128 sales and when i had bought the items she had a 99% positive feedback... now i have checked it she now only has 96.9%.

**UPDATE** Melinda also has some other sites registered in her name!!! Her other site is "westend-wholesale.com". When you go to the site it says "website coming soon" so whether she is about to start up another site OR this is an old site that she shut down after scamming other people (it says it was opened in sep08 exp sep09), God only knows..... if ony i didn't live in Australia i would probably take legal action!

NOTD China Glaze "Hybrid"

I felt like wearing some nude colour on my nails so i went to my massive collection, closed my eyes and plucked this one out! Thecolour is "Hybrid". Not too bad of a colour but it is a bit "cool" based and i don't think it goes well with my skin tone but oh well! ;p

Old NOTD "Awakening

I was looking through my old files and found this NOTD.

This is "AWKENING" by China Glaze (of course! Let's just say I am addicted to China Glaze)

Not much WOW factor in this colour but it is pretty! ;p

NOTD China Glaze "LOL"

Today's colour is "LOL" from the OMG collection. I LOVE these polishes as they have a hologram effect which looks really cool in the light as shown above!

The one con about this polish is that when applying it on the polish kinda comes off with the brush. I found this with alot of the OMG collection but if you just let it settle it eventually dries flat and is well worth the wait for the second coat!

Korean Pop

SO i have been visting You-Tube a little more than i should and have found a new love.... called K-POP!!! Their film clips have so much colour and are so inspiring not to mention they are catchy... even though i can't understand what they are saying i can appreciate the arrangment and tunes...i think i am liking it more than main stream music... uh~oh,.... daggy i know!!! ;p

The Sims 3

I LOVE the Sims franchise and have been playing it ever since it first came out. I have every expansion pack and stuff pack ever made....

Recently I bought The Sims 3 and HATED it at first but now I can't stop playing it. It takes a while to get used to the new game play.

While I was surfing for custom content i stumbled across this Magazine made entirely of Sims rendered photos... i just thought it was amazing and was VERY professionally done that i had to share it!

IMATS is coming to AUSTRALIA!!!!

That's right!!! IMATS is coming to Australia and I am SOOOOO excited! It's on the 12th and 13th of September (not to be confused with the Beauty Trade Expo which is on the 8th and 9th of September.)
Tickets are $30.00 for one day and $50 for 2 days.
I am booking mine now as I write!
There is no official line up yet but will post updates as soon as I hear anything!
